The Lodge of Free Burgesses was founded in 1922 for Freemen of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne but now accepts applications for membership from non-Freemen.

The Lodge meets on the second Wednesday during January, March (installation), May, July, September, November and December at Fern Avenue, Jesmond although fraternal visits to other lodges including our own mother lodge, Newcastle 24, are regular features in our calendar.
