MySpace Accounts 2011: 22-Dec-10

I tried to log in to our MySpace accounts earlier today and was suddenly bombarded by the new user interface. Somewhat bewildered, I wondered why those clever people at Myspace would inflict this monstrosity on their user base and then quickly realised that I didn't actually care all that much anyway. MySpace has simple ceased to be relevant compared to say Facebook, which is a lot of fun and much, much easier to use. Consequently, I've deleted all of our MySpace accounts. They should all disappear in roughly 48 hours. Merry Christmas, Mr. Murdoch.

Generations Concert postponed indefinitely : 13-Dec-10

Sadly, we've decided to shelve the idea of the Generation concert. We were forced to postpone the event last November following a series of annoying equipment problems
and the plan was to reschedule the event for early 2011. However, the venue are no longer returning my e-mails and so we've decided to just hold fire on the project for a couple
of years when we'll hopefully have more material and more of a local following.

SynthFest @ MakerFaire 2011: 10-Dec-10

The Centre for Life in Newcastle has hosted the annual UK Maker Faire for the past two years and will do so again in March 2011. Our parent company, Infection Music Limited, has been tasked with organising SynthFest, a celebration of DIY Synthesisers and, because we're just a bunch of media savvy attention whores, Thinking Metal are also keen to grab a piece of the action. Follow this channel for further updates.
